The Nativity Council of Catholic Women is a parish affiliate of the National Council of Catholic Women. The purpose of the Nativity CCW is to:
- Enhance the spiritual lives of its members
- Promote fellowship in the Church
- Serve wherever there is a need within the Church and the community
- Encourage each individual to contribute “time, talent, and treasure” for the good of all.
Our organization meets monthly from September through May. Meetings begin with light refreshments and a time to socialize. We then have a speaker followed by a brief business meeting. Two primary fundraising events (Craft Bazaar in the Fall and White Elephant Sale in the Spring) provide us with funds to support charitable causes. During the 2020-21 year, we provided support to:
- Catholic Argos
- Damien House
- Teachers impacted by Hurricane Sally
- Matthew’s Nursery
- Alfred Washburn Center
- Arcadia Health Center
- Nativity Parish
